Harvard University – the name of the oldest university in the USA and probably one of the most renowned academic institutions in the world has a certain impact.
In summer and autumn 2018, I had the opportunity to spend half a year in Boston, MA as part of my master's thesis in the field of cyber-physical systems in medical technology. My expectations were far exceeded! In addition to excellent researchers and students from various faculties, the city of Boston is also a great place to be with a high quality of life, the sporting spirit of many residents and a young, fresh, creative atmosphere.
I will gladly remember my experiences on the east coast of the USA for a long time and look forward to keeping in touch with friends and acquaintances there. Many thanks to the Lothar and Sigrid Rohde Foundation, which generously supported my stay.
